Once we go there, Owen got to work immediately...transferring sand from one place to another:
Jon decided to take along his own bucket (a 5-gallon one from Home Depot). It really came in handy:
He kept bringing water to this hole, which kept the kids busy
And the bucket also served as a great beach chair:

Eating lunch (we pretty much had the beach to ourselves while we were there!)

Boy, that husband of yours sure is resourceful! I love that his "fun" bucket doubled as a chair! I love the expression on C's face in the last picture, and O' is one hard working boy! Reminds me of his cousins digging capabilities:).
